No one escapes the Recession
Nearly two years later, the Syndicate returned, with a lovely new format that would, on one hand, bring some discipline to my drawings, while on the other, it didn’t have to follow that stuffy 2×2 rule all episodes had up until this stage. Unfortunately, it would be the penultimate Syndicate strip published to date. Shortly after episode #48 (that’s the one following this), my daughter was born, leaving me with no time for fancy pursuits such as a free-to-view online comic. On top of that, not too long after, me and most of the staff of Cafeína (a sort of sister-blog to the old Random Number, that’s now defunct), fell out with the bloke who was in charge of everything. That led to me shutting down the old blog and thus all the Syndicate’s episodes were offline. Since then, I’ve only managed to do very little Syndicate, but you’ll see that for yourselves.
